Incognito Mode: Is it Really Private?

Incognito Mode, Private Browsing and other features of browsers are becoming increasingly popular, especially how internety privacy is getting worse, with some websites having over 47 hidden trackers. But is this setting really effective?

Incognito Mode: An Odd But Effective Feature

Google Chrome's popular feature Incognito Mode is a funny feature, as it won't save your browsing history (which can be annoying for some people like me), won't save cookies or site data (another annoying thing, as your decisions sych as your theme wont be saved, and for example unpublished blog posts won't be saved as drafts), and any information that is entered into forms won't be saved to (annoying again, as a form might not rech the sender in time). But, as if this wasn't bad enough, it isn't that private as your activity and data might still be visible for any websites you visit, your employer or school or your Internet provider such as Virgin Media or Sky.

Firefox Private Browsing: Basically Useless

The Private Browsing option on Mozilla Firefox is almost useless, as browser itself is known for exellent internet privacy. It has the same features as Incognito Mode on Chrome, except that the fact that it must be more privacy-friendly. But this is not to say Firefox is bad; I recommend it and it is my persopnal favourite browser.
