As the internet becomes bigger and bigger whilst getting faster and faster, advertising on websites grow with it. Most web browsers are now built in with adblockers, like Opera and Brave, as some ads can track you around the web.
Most browsers now really respect your privacy, like Firefox, Brave, Chrome and Safari, and also recommend an adblocker like AdBlock Plus or uBlock Origin. This is mainly because all of the browsers are for some reason stuck on privacy, and as I mentioned earlier, some ads are very data-grabbing.
Adding to this on websites like Space.com and Live Science, there is a huge video playing in the background, but the actual content of the site is small and hard to read.
